Welfare Rights

16+ Team


Our Support Workers deliver Employability Agreements that include activities specifically designed to support 16-19 year olds, such as individual and group projects, taster sessions at college, time with training providers, and work experience. It is a creative package of activity and learning that is built around individual needs and interests. This could be a range of activities such as music, construction, rural skills and outdoor learning, which enable young people to increase confidence and learn transferable skills for the workplace

To take part participants must not be in a job, training or education (unless about to leave school) and they may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance of £30 per week.
